Florina Laura Jacota, the heart and hands behind Laura’s Crafts YYC is a faith-filled artist, wife, and mother who finds deep joy in creating beauty inspired by both God and nature. Laura always loves walking in the woods, watching the mountains, and feeling the peace of the natural world, and that peaceful beauty often finds its way into our handmade designs.

Laura’s creative journey began in Europe in 2009, when she started making hairpieces and jewelry for her daughters and close friends. What began as a simple act of love quickly grew into a passion. After moving to Canada, she brought that passion with her, and Laura’s Crafts YYC was born.

Each item she makes is crafted with care, prayer, and purpose. Through every piece, she hopes to share a little bit of beauty, faith, and encouragement with the world.
