Meet the Maker

Hi, I’m Florina Laura Jacota, the heart and hands behind Laura’s Crafts YYC. I’m a faith-filled artist, wife, and mother who finds deep joy in creating beauty inspired by both God and nature. I have always loved walking in the woods, watching the mountains, and feeling the peace of the natural world, and that peaceful beauty often finds its way into my handmade designs.

My creative journey began in Europe in 2009, when I started making hairpieces and jewelry for my daughters and close friends. What began as a simple act of love quickly grew into a passion. After moving to Canada, I brought that passion with me, and Laura’s Crafts YYC was born.

Each item I make is crafted with care, prayer, and purpose. Through every piece, I hope to share a little bit of beauty, faith, and encouragement with the world.
